Dr. Matt Hayat serves as the Biostatistician for the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. He manages the SON Biostatistics Consulting Service and provides statistical support to faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and students. Dr. Hayat has more than a decade of experience providing biostatistics support for a host of biomedical research studies in a wide array of disease areas. His previous positions have included work as a Senior Biostatistician with the National Institutes of Health and as Senior Biostatistician with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. His statistics education includes a Master's degree in statistics from Northern Illinois University and a Doctoral degree in biostatistics from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
